Your Testimony: Your Life
It was September 1986 a that was filled with joy for this woman-a mother. her first child was on the way, 2 months away and she would hold her bundle of joy. One afternoon the Jamaican weather brought rain and left outside wet and musty. Back then, the bathroom was outside, she had to go down make-shift board stairs. She was half way down when she slipped and hit her back on a stone.
That September I was born premature. Babycenter.com says at 7 months pregnant a baby weighs about 2 1/2 pounds and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel, muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and the head is growing bigger to make room for a developing brain. I could have been born with a neurological disorder and many other complications but God kept me. He look beyond that fall and saw a girl writing this blog and telling you just a small fraction of her story. You may have fallen to sinful passions, lying, stealing, an unforgiving spirit, lack of faith, depression and selfishness. You may have been hurt deeply by people and circumstances. i want you to know there is a God who heals every hurt, who forgives every sin and who wants you to turn from that wrong and make it right. Its not too late and no, your not too premature to survive the fall.
1 Corinthians 10:13 says 'Also remember that you haven't had any temptation that others haven't had. God is faithful and He will not let you be tempted beyond your strength but will provide a way of escape so you'll be able to stand up against it.' (The Clear Word Bible) The answer is not revenge, not suicide, not sorrow and bitterness the answer my friends is Jesus. Take your burdens and give them ALL to Him, and trust that He has things under control. Leave every worry, every trial and TRUST that He will forgive you if you confess your sins to Him. No sin is too great. Take your problems to Jesus and leave it there. And when you've received that victory share it with others, because the greatest testimony you will ever have is your testimony-your life.
